Itadakimasu Ramen
Restaurant

In Japan, いただきます (i-ta-da-ki-masu) is a phrase used before eating a meal. It translates to “I humbly receive,” or roughly to “let’s eat” (as understood by Western cultures). It is a way of showing gratitude for the food on your plate and is accompanied by the phrase ご馳走様でした (go-chi-sou-sa-ma-de-shi-ta) after the meal, meaning “thank you for the food.”

The iconographic elements that make up the logo include the flag of Japan, the terraced rice paddies or tea fields seen across the country, and a traditional bowl of ramen with chopsticks.
